Popular Vehicles & Services being a Co-sponsor of “Pete’s Festival of Speed”, the Autocross event will be named as “Popular Autocross” this year. Autocross is a timed competition in which drivers navigate one at a time through a defined course on either a sealed or unsealed surface, driving against the clock.
The fourth edition of Pete’s super cars event is back in action in January 2018. The two-day event on 13th and 14th January, pulls auto lovers from every nook and corner to the CIAL Convention Centre, Cochin International Airport, Nedumbassery, Kochi. This year events galore at the Festival with Power Drive, Auto Stunts, Go-carting, Autocross, radio controlled car competitions, exhibition, rock show, entertainment, food festival, merchandising, new launches etc. The event, having footfalls numbering over two lakhs comprising high net worth individuals and affluent youth, is streamed on virtual space too.
Popular Autocross runs in 6 different categories this year namely,
- a) Motorcars having upto 999cc engine capacity
- b) Motorcars having upto 1299cc engine capacity
- c) Motorcars having upto 1599cc engine capacity
- d) Open Class – any car any modification
- e) Ladies class – open with any car
- f) Kerala Amateur class (for local participation – any capacity engine but non-modified)

Details Of The Event
Pete’s Super Sunday, a biennial event organized by Pete’s, offers the auto enthusiasts of the country close encounters with the ultimate supercars and superbikes of the world. In January 2018, Pete’s brings you the 4th edition of Pete’s Super Sunday. In fact, this latest edition of PSS is a part of a much larger action-packed event the 1st edition of Pete’s Festival of Speed.
Pete’s Festival of Speed is a weekend event which brings together a wide range of adrenaline-pumping performances such as Pete’s Super Sunday, MRF Mogrip National Supercross Championship, Popular Autocross, Red Bull superbike stunt show, a rock show by Thaikkudam Bridge, etc. India’s biggest pageant of power, the event will bring together the choicest audience from across the country. The event also remains among the few to be covered by all media houses. Today it is ardently awaited not only by auto buffs and the media but also by leading supercar and bike brands as a platform to connect and converse with the affluent auto aficionados.
